At Evenor-Tech, our Geo-Information department aims to provide solutions to spatial problems of managing environmental information in order to organise existing knowledge so as to achieve a comprehensive management system for all natural resources while also taking into account the requirements laid down by soil and environmental regulations.

Sustainable production systems

Evenor-Tech provides soil and crop evaluation by using precision technology to achieve more efficient agriculture.  We use information technologies that enable us to define land areas for farming or for alternative purposes, as well as to evaluate productivity and the impact on traditional crops of precision farming.

We are specialists in analysing the space variability that exists in environments used for agricultural production.  We carry out scale field measurements by using aerial photography, satellite imaging and data collection from control points.  This gives us greater accuracy in our analysis and consequently the results are more reliable and more closely matched to each particular situation.

We provide companies and producers with the following services:

  • Design of soil sampling methods based on existing space variability.
  • Creation of maps with homogenous environmental units.
  • Estimation of bioclimatic restrictions for crop development in a particular location.

The study of ecosystems arises from the need to understand our natural resources in more detail and how they relate to mankind’s welfare. This approach to environmental issues is becoming more widely accepted both among academicians and government authorities and has a more prominent impact both on the scientific world and on policy-making.

A core part of these studies is to understand the close relationship that exists between how the ecosystems on our planet function, the decisions that we humans, consciously or unconsciously, take and which affect those ecosystems, and the consequences that has on our welfare.
